The Condor: Ornithological Applications

The Condor: Ornithological Applications is one of two scientific journals published by the American Ornithological Society (along with The Auk: Ornithological Advances), both accessible for free to AOS members.

condor-cover-nov-2016.jpgFirst published in 1899 by Cooper Ornithological Society, The Condor has become one of the world’s foremost ornithological journals. Beginning in 2014, The Condor became The Condor: Ornithological Applications, an international, peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research, syntheses, and assessments. The journal addresses: the application of scientific theory and methods to the conservation, management, and ecology of birds; and the application of ornithological knowledge to conservation and management policy and other issues of importance to society.
