The Condor: Ornithological Applications
The Condor: Ornithological Applications is one of two scientific journals published by the American Ornithological Society (along with The Auk: Ornithological Advances), both accessible to AOS members.
First published in 1899 by Cooper Ornithological Society, The Condor has become one of the world’s foremost ornithological journals. Beginning in 2014, The Condor became The Condor: Ornithological Applications, an international, peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research, syntheses, and assessments. The journal addresses: the application of scientific theory and methods to the conservation, management, and ecology of birds; and the application of ornithological knowledge to conservation and management policy and other issues of importance to society.
